WHO WE ARE

We are a small design studio with big heart. Our clients are local, national, big, small, non-profits, for-profits, retail brands, churches, entrepreneurs, photographers, artists, coffee shops, clothing designers, musicians, all-around passionate people. Our mission is to find out what makes all of them different, good, inspired — what gets them out of bed in the morning and excited to do what they do. We design communication tools that show off how amazing our clients really are. We do our best to pursue excellence in our craft and follow tried-and-true design practices — while always keeping an eye out for ways to innnovate and be creative.

What makes us

Our principal designer is Brandon Wooten. He was born and raised near Charlottesville, Virginia and received a bachelor of arts in Religious Studies and a minor in Architecture from the University of Virginia. After graduating, he worked as an in-house designer In New York City for several brands: first for Estee Lauder Companies designing international stores and later for Marc Ecko Enterprises designing and implementing retail store concepts. He founded Creed Design in 2008 and relocated back to Charlottesville where he lives with his wife, Ashley, whom he says is his best and toughest client (in a good way).

Brandon grew up going to flea markets and antique stores with his family and as a result has a knack for finding beauty in objects some might consider junk (or at most boring). He also really likes good food, eating, beards & mustaches, details, typography, coffee, magazines, his wife, his family, flannel, friends, Jesus, the occasional Maker's Mark, music, New York, UVa football, Otis Redding, wine, Ray Ban Wayfarers, mid-century modern furniture, jogging (only when pronounced with a soft 'j'), good beer, dressing up, Christmas, grilling, and Charlottesville (not necessarily in that order.)

WHAT WE DO

We design and make things. A bunch of different kinds of things. We work in a wide range of mediums so we can tell consistent stories wherever and whenever our clients are experienced. We've designed logos, websites, custom blogs, annual reports, brochures, posters, apparel packaging, business cards, letterhead, album covers, t shirts, wedding invitations, cards, signs, living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, stores, shops, tradeshow booths, offices, tables, ads...and a bunch of other stuff we can't think of right now. Below are a few recent projects we especially enjoyed.
